Many Graphic Designers offer services online these days. Maybe too many. This article covers some useful needs-to-know about graphic designers and what to look for when ordering a logo design, brochure design, or any of the countless reasons to order a graphic design service for the imaging needs of your company or organization.Graphic Design Services
For some time now, graphic design services (like any services these days) have been on a downward slide (in this Designer ‘s opinion). Take, for starters, logos. I can’t tell you how many logos I see there featuring a swoosh or swipe-looking graphic that shoots out as if orbiting the logo’s text. I ‘d like to tell you that the designers who created the thousands of swoosh logos out there used this design staple as it was their client’s best solution. I can just hear them telling how this simple element is really a complex and developed “less is more” approach to their customer’s design and worth every drop of the hundreds of dollars they charge. I ‘d like to tell you that, but unfortunately it’s not.Feel free to visit their website at BrandBliss for more details.
I’m not suggesting if you’ve got a swoosh in your logo, you’ve been scammed by a phony Graphic Artist trying to make a fast buck with a simplistic concept that catches your eye. I have used a swoosh or two in my designs (although typically at my client’s request and definitely not as the only item of the design). What I’m saying is that when you look at how many logos this graphic swoosh element features, it becomes quite obvious that a lot of graphic design sources are trying to get their orders filled out as quickly as possible without actually reflecting on the client’s design purpose and needs. It’s sad but true that most companies this day and age focus more on looking like a company rather than being a company. How many times you ordered something to find out later it was just a gimmick designed to sell.
